The Discovery Group set out for an unforgettable day at the Colorado Chautauqua, where history, nature, and community come together in one beautiful place. Nestled at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons, Chautauqua offered our group the perfect mix of exploration and inspiration.

Students walked through the historic grounds, learning about the tradition of Chautauqua and its roots as a gathering place for culture, education, and the arts. They experienced firsthand what makes this landmark so unique—its century-old cottages, the iconic auditorium, and the sense of history that still lives in every corner.

Of course, no trip to Chautauqua would be complete without getting out into nature. The group enjoyed the fresh mountain air, breathtaking views, and the chance to connect with the outdoors just steps from the historic grounds. It was a day filled with curiosity, reflection, and discovery—true to the spirit of our group.

The Colorado Chautauqua reminded us all how special it is to combine learning with adventure. Our students returned inspired, with new memories and a deeper appreciation for the history and beauty of Colorado.
